Graham Crawford and Roll of Honour

Graham Crawford - Honorary Life Member

Liam Hughes, WoSTTL Secretary, and team-mate of Graham's, presented him with a plaque to recognise his Honorary Life Membership of the West of Scotland League.
Graham Crawford - Honorary Life Member of WoSTTL

Liam informed members that Graham has played for clubs which Liam never knew existed and some which even Graham has forgotten - a list which includes Hillington, Lenzie, Airdrie, Bishopbriggs and Brunswick. Graham has never been among the tournament high-fliers nor had major administrative positions in the League but, acting as a team secretary for tens of years and turning out for matches year-in, year-out, he represents that bedrock of committed players upon which the League’s continued existence depends.

Graham started his West of Scotland League career in 1960 and has played continuously since then which means he has just completed his 51st season. He also reaches another milestone this summer, his 80th birthday, but is already written in as one of Brunswick's confirmed team players for next season. Fantastic! Congratulations Graham.
