West Schools Qualifier - Results!
The annual West of Scotland Schools Championships took place on Saturday 1st February 2014 at Drumchapel High School. 37 competitors from 26 schools/colleges took part in the competition.
Under 12
13 competitors were in this age category and congratulations to Raayan Khalid (St Albert PS) on winning the boys title.
Wiktoria Smolarek (St Cadocs PS) won the girls event.
Under 14 Boys
7 competitors were involved in this event and Zaid Khalid made it a double for the Khalid family winning the under 14 boys category. The runner up was Shreenil Vani of Glasgow Academy.
Under 16 Boys
This was one of the most exciting competitions with a 3 way count back needed to determine the qualifiers from Group B. Congratulations to Yaser Razouk (Boclair Academy) on winning the Under 16 boys championships,
Under 18 Boys

championships with Cameron Hussain the runner up.
Open Doubles
Congratulations to Lucy Elliott and Stephen Grimes on winning the open doubles event. They defeated club mates Stewart Horsfall and Greg Robertson 3-2 in the very exciting final.
