Craig Hardie and Terry McLernon Jnr were set a few difficult questions when Craig Hardiethey faced a new look Students Collective side with new boy Christian Schmeltzer teaming up with GSC regular Paul Marshall. Terry faltered at the final hurdle when Paul won a competitive five end tussle,  11-9 in the fifth, to give the students a consolation point.

The Main brothers won the crucial doubles, three straight, and Chris and Richard secured the three points with their matches against Davie Thomas. A link to a coaching video has been added to the links section of the site. They provide a useful demonstration of the main strokes. One slight reservation with technique on a couple of the video clips. Please contact wosttl@ntlworld.com if you think you have spotted them. I'm not promising any prizes, but you never know.
