At the Double!
League and cup doubles were the order of the day with both Nomads and Drumchapel E securing league titles and divisional cup victories.
Nomads were clear winners of Division 1 by an impressive 12 points from Coatbridge and, this week, scored an emphatic 5-0 victory over the same team in the Maxwell Wilson Cup final.
It was a similar story in Division 2 with Drumchapel E winning the league title by 10 points from South Ayrshire and they followed this up with a 5-2 victory in the House of Harris Cup final, with the Ayrshire team missing out again .
Completing a week of cup finals at Drumchapel Sports Centre, Drumchapel D secured a 12 point win over Knightswood in the Walter McNeil handicap trophy.
