Drumchapel Anniversary
Drumchapel completed their 20 year anniversary celebrations on Monday 22 June in spectacular fashion with an exhibition to savour - a match between Jan Ove Waldner & Jorgen Persson, two of the greatest players ever. They have many World and European titles to their name and of course Jan Ove has won the ultimate prize, Olympic Gold at the Barcelona Games.
The exhibition by the Swedish legends had everything and in a fantastic display of world class shot making they demonstrated their full repertoire. Their extraordinary level of play was warmly appreciated by a large crowd of members and supporters of the club.
Our very own Chairman, and Drumchapel supremo, Terry McLernon was presented with a special plaque to acknowledge the Club members’ appreciation for all his hard work
