West of Scotland Table Tennis League

It is with deep regret that I report the death of Morris Banks of Maccabi Glasgow TTC. He died on Monday (20 October) after a long battle with illness. A very popular player and a true gentleman he will be sadly missed by all players, coaches and officials.

Morris competed in the West of Scotland Table Tennis League for over 50 years and was an Honorary Life Member of both the West League and Table Tennis Scotland. Our sincere sympathy and condolences go to his family.

The funeral is arranged for Thursday, 23 October, 4:00pm at Glenduffhill Cemetery, 278 Hallhill Road, Bailieston, Glasgow G33 4RU
